Fancy a relaxing weekend or longer holiday? Just 30 min. from Valence, La Maison Brette is located at start of Drôme valley between Allex and Crest. Much of cultural interest with a built heritage steeped in history. Don't miss the Tour de Crest, the tallest castle keep in France. Plus hilltop villages and castle ruins. Lots of outdoor activities: swimming, canoeing in river Drôme, cycling and mountain biking, climbing & hiking in the Vercors and Diois. Lovely little walks on the doorstep. For family outings, 2 major attractions just 10 min. away: Les Ramières nature reserve (amusing, sensory and interactive activities to increase your environmental awareness), Bird garden/sanctuary at Upie (like stepping into another world). Good food and wine to be found in the many farmers' markets.
From outside of La Maison Brette, adjoining the owners' home, it's hard to realise just how modern, comfortable and tastefully decorated it is. Holiday home for 4 people, 5 min. from Crest. Ground floor: living room with open-plan kitchen and lounge area, separate WC. 1st floor: 2 bedrooms (two 80x200cm beds OR queen-size bed) (two 70x190cm beds OR double bed), shower room, desk/study area. Garden with fruit trees (apple, fig, apricot) opposite gîte on other side of little road. Wooden table, deckchairs, restful setting, lovely panoramic view.
